I’m giving as many handmade gifts as I can this year for holiday gifts. We’re planning a trip in February so we need to be cost efficient – so handmade it is! Luckily, most of my family ended up requesting that I knit them some of my newer designs. My brother in particular wanted a TALUS hat – can’t say no to that! In other news, my test knitters are hard at work right now on my upcoming wrap design. I can’t wait to share more of their photos soon! The wrap is large, so I’ll be releasing the pattern either at the very end of this month, or in the beginning of January.
This new design is a herringbone wrap with my stripe pattern you may recognize from DAWSONIA – it is over-sized, wonderfully warm, and has endless possibilities of colour combinations! My sister often picks colours that I absolutely love – the photo below is of her test knit wrap! My original colours were chosen to mimic the glaciers that inspired it, but purple has my heart, as do neutral colours. I can’t wait to see her wear it!
