The mountains are calling…Using seed stitch, this hat features a textured mountain range that is warm, comfortable, and enjoyable to knit. Inspired by the mountains of British Columbia, this hat lets you show your love for mountains on your adventures.

This pattern has been tech edited by Nicola Hodges (@tinyislandtextiles) and tested. The pattern has both a chart and written instructions for the mountain motif.

YARN
Approximately 107 yards (98 metres) of worsted weight yarn
Shown in Hinterland Range ‘Truffle’

GAUGE
19 sts / 27 rounds = 4 in (10 cm) in stockinette stitch on larger needles, in the round (blocked)

NEEDLES
US #6 (4.0 mm) 16 in circular needle
US #8 (5.0 mm) 16 in circular needle
US #8 (5.0 mm) DPNs

(Adjust need size as required to meet gauge)

FINISHED DIMENSIONS
Approx 18 in (45.75 cm) circumference and 7.75 in (19.75 cm) length after blocking (unstretched). Hat will comfortably fit average adult head sizes 20-23 in (50.75-58.5 cm)
