New Pattern – BERGSCHRUND wrap

My newest pattern, BERGSCHRUND, just went live on Ravelry! You may recognize the stripe pattern from my first cowl design, DAWSONIA.  I actually designed them around the same time – but I held back releasing BERGSCHRUND until the winter.  I knew this heavy, oversized wrap wasn’t something I wanted to release in the warm weather season!  The herringbone stitch pattern of this wrap is time consuming, but the gorgeous woven effect after blocking is well worth the effort.

You can save 20% on this pattern until January 9th at midnight PST, using coupon code ICE on Ravelry.

Wearing BERGSCHRUND in the mountains while snowshoeing, in Squamish BC

As you ascend into the British Columbian alpine, you can find yourself surrounded by beautiful glaciers and mountain peaks. BERGSCHRUND features stripes in herringbone stitch inspired by the crevasses and glaciers found in the mountains, creating a beautiful woven fabric. This oversized wrap will keep you warm on your adventures.

This pattern has been tech edited by Nicola Hodges (@tinyislandtextiles) and tested. Many thanks to my test knitters for their hard work on this project!
