WELCOME! I’m Kaitlyn of Rowsom Knits. I’m a Canadian knitting designer, and I started publishing patterns in March 2017. I find inspiration from where I adventure in British Columbia – the forests, the mountains, the ocean.

I strive to create designs that feature unique textures that are inspired by nature, that will be enjoyed by makers of all skill levels. My goal is to create pieces that are both enjoyable to knit but are comfortable to wear. Each pattern name and description explain where or what I was inspired by, and the stories behind the creation. All Rowsom Knits patterns are tech edited and thoroughly tested before publication.

I live in Vancouver, BC with my husband Daniel and crazy cat named Raven. My favourite things (and things to do) include knitting, coffee, running, hiking, paddling, and being in the mountains. I taught myself to knit in 2012 and credit my husband with pushing me out of my comfort zone and encouraging me to start publishing.
